About Me

I am Jim Offerman, a pop artist from Utrecht, The Netherlands. I make indie pop music that moves you from darkness into light. When you fall down, I pick you up and tell you to hold on. Well, not literally (one would be awfully busy picking everybody up and telling them to hold on), but I do hope my music has that effect on you! It is why I make the stuff.

Actually, I am not just making music for you. It’s also for me! Many of my songs started out with the things that I needed to hear. Speak Up helped me to understand that people won’t know what’s going on with me if I don’t tell them; This Is Me made me work to overcome my self-esteem issues and Hold On To Your Dreams taught me to do just that. Of course, not every song I write has to contain a lesson of sorts - sometimes I am just plain silly, such as when I wrote Cream. My music is dead serious, but also fun.
